How much of a weirdo am I, anyway?

Well, poke around this site and figure it out for yourself, I guess.

Years ago, Steve Vai wrote a series of articles for Guitar Player Magazine called Martian Love Secrets. These were mostly exercises in creativity and thinking outside the box. But between these and the interviews he was doing at the time in support of the Passion and Warfare album (where he spoke pretty freely about some odd mental states he experienced that he way trying to replicate on the album), people started to get the impression that Steve was a little... weird.

Well, I'm not going to give you stories about astral projection and otherworldly beings and the divine and such, but I do odd things with dice and randomness and I promise you that most of the exercises you see here weren't copped from a magazine or a book.

This site started out as a blog, which soon revealed itself to be a completely stupid format for what I was trying to do (putting down all my weirdo guitar ideas in one place). I dig Livejournal, but it's not really a good way to organize this kind of thing.
